Your Personal Treehouse

By George Dodson

A potential personnel like you would be fool enough to choose a place for his creativity rather than a Treehouse. Post probably you will get Treehouse as much as the number as trees and you are recommended to do these on some general formula.

Step 1: Set up your beam You are suggested to hold up beams of two sets what would be 3/4 diameter x 10". You are recommended to set your beams at the same height of your Treehouse. Put an edge to the high point of the beams and square them. Your floor joist should be started when the frame is square.

Step 2: Your platform should be leveled. It is better if you level your platform with the support of floor leveling and to swelling a long 2x4 on one corner and go to the next corner with an eye to leveling that beam and install another 2x4. It is thought that the more the level long , the better.

Step 3: Knee brace Installing It is the best time to install the permanent braces to support the Treehouse when you will see that your platform is completely ready. You would be easily workable with two 2x6's screws together and a cut of 45 degrees angle. You are suggested to surprise some confine brackets so that it could build up the tree with another 3/4" lag.

Step 4: Go for deck From my point of view this is the most important step of your work as after you have finished this step a fine basement is ready for you. If you want a smooth clear cut for the edge of your deck you should keep much board hanging over. Again it is important to start from one end. It is convenient to use a pencil that is used by carpenters for maintaining a suitable gap between your deck.

Step 5: Install the wall after making a frame Your walls should try to be structured on the land. The thickness of your side should be considered at the time of taking the measurements of walls. You should try to fix your siding by this time. You have to be cognizant about the siding on the walls that it should contact the last part of the two walls.

Step 6: Lets go for roof At first you have to confirm about the degree of slope of your roof then go for it. You have to determine the height of rafter first. Then install a center roof beam to support the rafters temporarily.

Step 7: Inaugurate doors and access ladder You should use treated wood for ladder building. Because, the ladder remains in touch with the soil directly. If you want to ascend easily on your house, I tell you to build a ladder in which the steps are 10 inches apart.

Step 8: Railing establishment and enjoy it The space between two balusters should be 4 inches for a 36 inches surrounding. If you want a uniformed spaced railing it is important to begin working from the middle portion and screw all the top first. Then you are recommended to screw in the middle and at the very least to the bottom of the fence.

It is very important to ensure safety during construction. Take a strip and tie it strongly with a firm branch of the tree or ladder and use it for supporting you. It will confirm your safety. Store helpful equipment for emergencies. Be conscious at all-time. Dont worry! It is nothing but just a funny work.
