One of the struggles of new and old Christians alike would be communicating with their Lord. Of course the thing about this is that it is quite difficult to strike a conversation with someone who does not reply back. So in order to answer the age old question of how do i start taking to god, then here are a few ways that may help.
Now one of the most important things to know first before striking a conversation would be to have the proper relationship. One has to first make sure that he is connected to god if he would want god to respond to him in his hour of need. God however, does not respond with a hi or hello but with a very warm presence.
Of course if one is a newborn, then the best place to know more about the creator would of course be the Bible. The Bible is the main book that would have all of the stories of creation and progression. There are also some laws and rules of life made by the Lord himself that are given for his followers to take note of so that they can access the path to Heaven.
Of course everyone knows that the most important part of any spiritual relationship would be prayer. Since humans cannot just talk to God anyhow, then the only way to communicate would be through prayer. Prayer is the one thing that will put humans in the spiritual realm and be able to make sure that God will be able to hear them.
Usually a person will be able to feel the presence of the Creator once he has opened himself up. All of his vulnerabilities and all of his weaknesses can be seen but he has to be the one who will lay it all down to the Lord. Once he has already opened himself up to the Lord, then he will receive the grace of the Creator.
Of course the Holy Spirit is the spirit that would give warmth to those who would be in contact with God. Once one has already opened himself up to the Lord, then he will be able to feel the Holy Spirit. The feeling of its presence is a very warm one that would give one comfort even during the hardest times.
Now faith is one of the most crucial aspects of having a relationship with God because it is really hard to believe in something that cannot be seen. However, it is more on something that is felt by the heart and not seen by the eyes. One has to first have faith in God and find God in his life before he can feel this warmth.
Now finding comfort and building a relationship with someone who is not physically present and who does not reply through words is quite hard. However, faith is a very strong thing and will definitely make one stronger. So if one would want to be able to talk to God, then he must have faith, know more about God, and of course build a connection with him.
