They can turn a small and shabby living space into an elegant and luxurious living space.

Many people would love the chance to be treated like royalty even in their own homes. Hence, they try to make their living spaces look more regal by using some runners on the floor. What they do not know is that a heavy burden goes along with this endeavor. Victory can be obtained but beneath lies a difficult battle to overcome.

Because they have longer fibers, shags are considerably difficult to clean. It can easily catch dust and dirt which becomes almost impossible to reach when caught up in its fibers. Rug size can also add to this predicament. Heavier carpets are very cumbersome.

Even professional carpet cleaners find these fluffy floor coverings hard to clean. They charge a lot for this type of carpets. Cleaning these runners take up a lot of their working hours. They may no longer have the time life to attend to another client. Hence, they would have to bill you for a day of work. Keeping fleece is truly costly. They are also very delicate. Mishandling them might cause to destroy the material.

Flokati is certain type of shag traditionally handmade in Greece. This type of fleece is the quickest to get dirty because of its long fibers. The color of this rug is also very susceptible to stains because it is usually white or cream. You need to have a regular cleaning schedule for this matting.

Noodle rugs have thicker fibers than the flokati which is made of 100 percent wool. Some have thinner fibers which are closely knotted together. Cleaning them is somewhat easier but they cost more than the noodle. However, the come at a fairly higher price than the others. Leather is probably the easiest but a lot less appealing. The leather material also makes them more expensive. Acrylics are cheaper but is altogether hazardous to be used in your home.

All these information about fleece seem very upsetting but no need to fret. Your dreams of getting that lush living space has not been shattered. You still can achieve that majestic look on your living space. Just keep in mind that your carpets also need some love and care.
