The roofing also offers protection against animals. Another issue that would compromise the worth and the purpose of a roof is poor installation and unsatisfactory work. If the installation is faulty, this would absolutely increase the risk of problems as well as lower the life expectancy of roofs significantly. Poor preparation during installation can be problematic in future while adhesion problems may arise if the area is not properly cleaned and dried before installation. Such issues may result to problems in the future such as premature aging and failure.

Improper repairs normally are common in metal roofs where people are inclined to using plastic cements, caulking as well as other materials that are not meant for that use. Any little damage on the roof will lower the quality of the building.
