Group conseling is also very helpful because you are able to identify with other people who have lost someone who has been very dear to them. You will learn more about connecting with other people who are also grieving. Working in a group, be it in a formal or informal setting can help you to gain support from one another. Support is incredibly important during this time. Not everyone is able to get this from people close to them. They may not understand what they are going through. This is why this type of support is so helpful.

You may even be feeling guilty about these emotions, especially when you begin to blame your loved one. However, the grief counselor would have the experience to know more about what is happening with the individual and why they are having these questions. It is also healthy to be having these questions. It means that you are progressing.
