My Experience With A Concept2 Rowing Machine

By Kim Tomlinson

I was never extremely enthralled about the sport of indoor rowing until I tested out a C2 Rowing Machine. Like mast other pieces of aerobic workout gear you see at a gym, I presumed a rowing machine would be uninteresting and not provide any muscle-building benefits.

I was not right about that

What I came to know was that indoor rowers provide lots of different workouts. They keep users from getting bored, meaning they are more likely to continue their exercise regimen. Whether you are trying to reduce weight or gain muscle or both, you will get results quicker when you exercise consistently.

They are additionally very practical. I did not know how light-weight and easy one of these machines was to relocate until I picked it up and moved it across the room. I was able to do it nearly effortlessly with one hand. I was actually surprised. This aspect alone made me think it would be the ideal piece of home workout gear. I could quickly move it from room to room and then store it out of view when it was not being used.

I likewise had no problems hearing music or watching a great tv show while exercising. I admit, in some cases I prefer a distraction or an escape while I am exercising. With a loud piece of workout gear, you can't hear music or watch a movie. Occasionally this means that I will not exercise at all.

When I used to run often, I would finish an exercise then have to add a strength-building routine for my upper body. With the C2 Rowing Machine, I don't have to do that. All significant muscle areas get a strenuous workout on the machine, and in minimal time.

This gives me even more time to do other things that I enjoy. It likewise gives me even more motivation to exercise on a rower, because I realize that it will get me more results quicker than other alternative exercise routines.

As you have probably noticed, I am a big fan of this rowing machine, however, there is another thing I wish to point out. I like working out outside. Typically I do not prefer indoor exercise classes or fitness centers. Nevertheless, since the C2 is so light-weight and easy to move around, I just roll it outside and enjoy working out in the sunlight. If this is a concern that you are thinking about, you don't have to be.

If you're considering investing in home exercise device, like an indoor rower, test one out first. Lots of fitness centers have them, or your neighborhood workout equipment shop might let you test drive one. Then, you can go shopping online to locate the lowest priced deal on the equipment you want.
