How To Put On Tanning Bed Lotions

By Haywood Hunter

Sometimes you do not have the time to get a nice tan. Using tanning bed lotions will shorten the amount of time it takes to have a healthy glow to your skin. You cannot use any lotion, it must be one that will not damage the bed.

Going to a salon to give your skin that healthy, sunny glow is popular no matter where you live. In sunny climates people go to avoid the harmful UV rays of the sun. In regions with little sunshine, people use them because it is hard to get a tan without spending all day outside.

Products designed to help you tan faster work with the sun to increase the amount of melanin in your skin. When you wear them outside, they speed up production, giving you a tan. They are not sunblocks, so you need to be careful of your sun exposure when using one.

Anytime you are outside you should have on a sun block. You can use another product to help you tan underneath the block. A much safer and faster way to get some color is to use a self tanner. It will dye wherever it touches your skin. It is important to put on an even coat, covering all spots, to have it look good.

Going to a salon and using a tanning bed does not produce a tan any faster than getting one outside. The difference is you do not have to wait for good weather to get started. You can already be a nice, soft brown before summer hits.

To speed up the process, there are tanning bed lotions. They do not color your skin like a bronzing product. They are like normal tanning products, but without the oils that can ruin a bed.
