The Lemonade Diet is one of the biggest weight loss guaranteed diets which has been developed in the recent years. It began as a technique for stars to lose their body fat, and was developed by the late Stanley Burroughs, who swore by its magical capability of burning fat.

The first thing that needs to be done is to totally clear one's schedule for at least 10 days. There must be no interruption s during this process.

Over time the master cleanse diet became known by other names such as the lemonade diet, the maple syrup diet and the cayenne pepper diet. These names came about because of the items used in making the mixture.

The next thing to do is to make sure that you have a plenty of the mixture close by. If you start to feel hunger, you can drink more lemonade. If the aftertaste bothers you, adding maple syrup or drinking water will generally take care of the taste. If you don't like the spicy, you can buy the cayenne pepper pills and take them with the lemonade drink.

The lemonade diet requires that no food be eaten at all throughout the whole diet. If any food is eaten the master cleanse would be a waste of time.

To aid the bowel movements, salt water flush is recommended, which involves consuming 2 quarts of water in the morning mixed with 2 teaspoon salt water. Also, herbal laxative tea for cleansing purpose is selected for consumption before bedtime.

A substitute for the maple syrup was suggested by Stanley Burroughs, as freshly squeezed sugarcane juice, mixed with lemon juice and cayenne pepper, and if required, slightly diluted. After getting off the diet, one should try taking liquids for the first day before attempting to eat solid food.

Documentation of the lemonade diet experience from start to finish is a great idea. Writing everything down can help keep the experience in perspective and on the right track.

The master cleanse flushes the body to clear out the residue from years of eating. This is a very difficult and stressful task within itself so completing it should be quite rewarding.

Some people have medications or other medical issues that may prevent use of this diet. It doesn't make sense to hurt oneself in an attempt to improve one health. There are always other alternatives.

Your body will not be able to understand the sudden deprivation of food, and you might suffer from mood swings. Also, bowel movements might sometimes be too much, so think before going on this diet and make a decision wisely.
