First of all, take visit to the hardware store and purchase the entire kit composed of track, doors, and split studs. Specifically designed to collapse flatly adjacent to the wall, this passageway object comes with various specifications, styles, and models to choose from. Therefore, it is highly recommended for the user to properly go through the installation manual that comes along with the product to ensure that the process goes smoothly.

Prior to the actual installation, the area and the frame needs to be prepared first. Carefully measure the wall to ensure that the revolving barrier at the entrance will fit properly to the open space when mounted to the wall. Likewise, it is highly advisable to check also for plumbing and wirings that might be dislocated during the process.

To attach the header, take off the plates, studs, sills, and drywall taking note that the header's size is commensurate to the door's weight. Then the split studs which are made up of hollow channel wrapped in metal needs to be mounted to the header and the floor. After that, mount the hanging brackets to the top portion of the revolving barrier at the entrance.

When it comes to the door's frame, it is highly advisable to measure its actual face to see to it that it perfectly snaps into the rough opening. Keep the track in the same level with the frame when the nails are mounted to the frame. Make sure also that the nails and screws are of their proper placement when the dry wall is reattached.

Once the frame has been installed, mount this kind of revolving barrier on the manufacturer's direction carefully. Ask for help from a friend to assist in inserting the wheels into the track. Carefully sliding the this kind of revolving barrier into the roller wheel in a tilted position and snap it into place. Then inspect if the mounted object works perfectly but if not, then it is best to make necessary adjustments on the frame.

For the finishing touches of the installation process, mount screws, panel adhesives, and drywall compound to the drywall. Let the material dry then repeat the process to put additional layers of compound. Finally, cut and install the trim casing at the door's top and side portions to complete the installation process.

It is actually easier to install the pocket door set when new construction is underway since cutting of studs will not be done anymore. But for those people who feels like pocket revolving barrier installation is too burdensome, then the can also opt to have an open door which is mounted to the outside wall's interior. So what are you waiting for, save some space on your tiny area.
