Bathroom Storage And Paint Techniques

By Abram Vanorden

Bathroom storage ideas can be creative, fun and frugal. They can fit more storage at the same time that it puts more style into your square footage.

Using fabrics as bathroom paint ideas involves the purchase of colourful, off-the-shelf window treatments and shower curtains. Pretty fabrics that go with the colour scheme of the bathroom will coordinate well and look nice. Hanging a bright batik bedspread straight down or in easy folds can be used to cover an empty wall of a bathroom.

Another of these bathroom storage ideas is attaching a basket to the wall if you have reservations in hanging it on a hook. This can be your one marvellous and frugal means of having a bathroom wall storage area. Wall basket attachment is simply a screwing of the basket to the wall studs. However, there may be need to add a larger washer or two to ensure that the screw will not be pulling through the weave of the basket. If you can find a basket for wall attachment, you can always use painted wooden crates in its stead.

You can install some cabinets right under the sink so that you can maximize the space it has underneath. Usually, you would find in well furnished homes that their bathroom storage units simply come in baskets to serve as their dirty clothes hamper. These baskets are very earthy looking since they are usually weaved and natural.

If you have the budget to spend with, you could consider shopping for a bath furniture set already that would best fit the space you have for your bathroom. But if you are running tight on budget, then you can just buy the pieces one at a time and wait for special discount events.

Using paints as bathroom paint ideas consists of painting the bathroom walls, or if the walls are mostly tiles, painting the ceiling instead. If after painting either the walls or the ceiling with a particular colour, you find that it does not work, simply start all over again with another colour. It's as simple and elementary as that.
