How To Host A Tea Party

You've been thinking of doing some sort of activity that will help you catch up with your friends it has been a long time since all of you are gatecrashed in a single place together. You have all been very busy. But this time. You are determined to actually be able to get all of you together. After pondering your choices you have decided that a Tea Party would be a fine idea. There are some things you should do to prepare.

You need to determine the date that you would hold the event. You are going to notify your friends, so, it is best to a free on a good date ahead of time. Decide when you would want to hold it as well- the specific time of the day. Basically, any time is fine. But there are people hat would actually prefer if they can have this event held in the afternoon.

Invite your guests. You need to give them the invites at least two weeks prior. There are people that would actually prefer getting some written invites. It is always important that you provide them the notice ahead of time so they get a chance to sort through their schedules and come. Calling them on the phone and letting them know of the date and the time is going to help too.

You need to obtain the right supplies as well. You need a lot of things for the event. It helps if you already a tea set ready at your home. If not, it might be best to actually acquire before you will hold the event. Stores these days are selling these stuff in sets, so you should not have a hard time getting them. Obtain the necessary supplies as well. Buy the right tea for this purpose.

Decide on the food that you will be serving on your table too. You have to make sure that the items you will serve are going to be right and appropriate for the beverages that you and the guests will be drinking. It is important to have savory and sweet stuff served on the table. You will need something light and at the same time, there are sweet stuff on the table too.

Work on setting the table properly. You will need to have a table covered with a white linen tablecloth. Have the area set in a way where the tea is at the end of the table. This is where you should sit. Make sure that you'll have plenty of room to be able to serve the drinks. Guests can serve the food themselves.

Dress the part too. It is expected for you to be dressed in at least a casual attire when hosting the event. But it is not actually inappropriate of you will decide to be dressier. You'd want to wear a nice cress. Your friends and guests are expected to dress the part as well. Then, ten minutes before the arrival of the guests, have the water in your kettle boiling so you're set.

After the guests have arrived, bring this to the table. You should not start serving drinks and letting them enjoy the food too. Now, you can enjoy your company, chat and catch up on each other. Also, try to avoid gossip to avoid hurting somebody's feelings.
