Back Pain During Pregnancy - How To Find Relief

A common symptom of being pregnant is experiencing back pain. It's caused by several factors, such as the increased weight you're carrying, the shift in your center of gravity and hormonal changes. Dealing with your pregnancy can be quite an ordeal even though the pain involved is certainly temporary. Here are a few ways that you can minimize the back pain that you are feeling while pregnant.

When you are pregnant, you must pay close attention to your posture as it may affect how much back pain you feel. Since your center of gravity will be different when you are carrying the extra weight of your child, your posture will be affected because of this. This may cause you to lean back, which puts an extra burden on your lower back and can make your back pain worse.

Back pain can present itself in many ways in women who are expecting. Early on in your pregnancy, it is common to start experiencing pain in your lower back. By all means, provided you have already experienced pain in your spine, it is a higher probability that you will struggle with this symptom when you are expecting a child. Another thing that puts you in a higher risk category for spine tenderness during pregnancy is to be over your ideal weight. Still, one should allow for some quantity of back distress because with all of the changes in their body, this is normal. The spine is required to bear added girth, this in itself could add to sore backs. Additionally, the increased hormones produced by your body causes the joints to become looser and more sensitive. All of the above aspects create a vulnerability to back misalignment when you are expecting.

Assuming one has a history of backaches, certainly it is to be expected that while pregnant they will struggle with this even more so.
