The females have good maternal characteristics. Farmers who keep them in bigger farms get enough milk daily. In addition, the local consumption of milk from sheep has increased tremendously. Those keeping them benefit because they reach early puberty. When compared to others, they have a higher fertility rate. They resist different conditions making them adapt and survive in different areas.

The males also mature very early for the slaughter. Even with early maturity, their muscles are big enough for slaughter hence satisfying the consumers. Their meet is very sweet and has an exclusive taste. Farmers who keep them for meat therefore get their returns more quickly compare to those which mature late.

The ewes and rams show early puberty. They also have the advantage of a longer productive lifespan when you take good care. For those who want to grow their stocks, this is the variety to keep because they usually give twins. However, you will be amazed when you get some giving you triplets and quadruplets.
