You Can Have A Great Time In Delray Beach Florida

Delray Beach is a popular tourist destination on the US coast of the Atlantic Ocean. This vibrant resort is just fifteen miles from Palm Beach International Airport and less than thirty miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. The town boasts over two miles of pristine, sandy beaches on the coast of South Florida.

This seaside constituency has a broad diversity of attractions. People on vacation in Delray Beach Florida can discover many first class restaurants here, encompassing the Italian essence of the Caffe Luna Rossa, Oriental gastronomy courtesy of the Bird Nest Tree restaurant and West Indian flavours supplied by the Cabana. Artistic aficionados can revel in the demonstrations at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. The nature reserve of Wakodahatchee Wetlands is just the thing for twitchers and lovers of nature.

Atlantic Avenue has been described as this village-by-the-sea's Main Street. It features diverse shops and boutiques as well as more top-class dining and a lively nightlife. There are many live music venues in the side streets just off the main street, notably Pineapple Grove. Some of America's warmest winter weather provides the downtown district with an ideal setting for outdoor exhibitions, arts and crafts fairs.

Locals and travellers alike can take a trip round the central district. You can ride the gratis trolley car to do so.The area's tree lane layout features some marvelous Art Deco structures.

Atlantic Dunes Park is a beautiful, clean and relatively quiet place, perfect for fishing and swimming in the clear water. Visitors might like to walk on the short nature trails through the sand-dunes and sea-grass. The area is secured by police patrols and a lifeguard service. There are some great hotels nearby including Crane's BeachHouse Hotel and Tiki Bar, Breakers on the Ocean and Wright By The Sea.

One of Florida's foremost art galleries is the Arts Garage, located at 180 Northeast 1st Street. This is a distinguished venue for several interesting styles of entertainment. Holidaymakers are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Gifted performers and artists distinguish the Arts Garage, forming a hub of Florida's fine art and concert communities. Reviewers all pay tribute to the prospect from each of the one hundred and fifty seats.

The Cornell Museum of Art is another theatre that offers a slice of Broadway in Florida. Children can get involved in creating their own art here, whilst adults take in some magnificent water colours. The museum is set in a charming old school building which has been lovingly restored to its 1913 glory. Many innovative artists display in this inexpensive venue. Another multi-media gallery at 777 E. Atlantic Avenue is the Art Arena Gallery. Fans of the arts can also visit the S. D. Grady Cultural Heritage Museum dedicated to collections of stories and pictures of the town's founding fathers.

Positioned in Palm Beach County, Delray is one segment of Miami's own Metropolitan Area. This corner of the Gold Coast province is also part of the Everglades. The Tennis Centre is a hard court venue on the ATP Tour, hosting a leg.
