Be sure to wear a cycling shorts. You need to have something like this donned on to ensure that you're comfortable when you will be riding the bike. It is very handy in ensuring that you are not going to have saddle sores while biking too. At the same time, cycling shoes and clip-less pedals are going to be good equipment to have too, though you can choose not to have them if you cannot afford them.

A water bottle is a very handy time for you to have when you do the biking part. You would have to exert appropriate effort to ensure that you are well hydrated during the entire leg. You would need to have the right pair of shoes too. They need to be made appropriately for running. They have to fit your feet. Make sure that you are comfortable wearing them too as they can affect your performance.

It might be a little tougher to go through the program if you have not kept yourself fit for a long time. Nonetheless, it isn't impossible. The best thing you can do is take the right steps in ensuring that you give yourself ample time to get back into shape again. Remember that forcing yourself is never a good thing. So, take things a step at a time to avoid injuries.

Be sure to find a trainer that should be able to guide you well along the way. There are a lot of people who would actually prefer being guided by the experts. You can do the same thing, you can enlist the assistance of somebody who experienced the challenge before. Find one with the most experience so you are sure that you can rely on him.
