Knowing the process in a marriage lets you understand the spot where you along with your partner are near, so it helps explain what could appear to be puzzling behaviors. They make a road map towards a healthy relationship. It does not matter how long you've been in a relationship; most of them fit in these six stages:
The attraction stage
During this initial stage each partner are hoping to get along and please one another; you both are trying to make things work out. At that stage, neither of you will have seen your respective bad sides since you'll have both showed only your best sides. This is the place where we usually are in love, and see only the best qualities of the partner.
Perturbation stage
Now each of you start noticing the differences between each other. Conflicts arising but they usually handled fast. During this stage, the partners either handle this or it may lead to separating.
The molding stage
Partners accept and appreciate each other's weak sides; they don't use force and mentality realize that love brings not only joy to their life, but sometimes it makes them struggle.
The happy stage
If your relationship survives the previous stage, both partners relax their boundaries and realize that they'll never alter the other person completely. They start appreciate each other more giving mutual respect and deeper love feelings.
Resurfacing stage
Partners give up to reality and believe that relationships too have their defects. This is when they discover how to love one another and definitely feel connection with each other. This is the time when you're both ready to commit long term relationship.
The complete trust and love stage
This is actually the last stage, and trust here becomes unconditional. Partners start working on some common projects, they feel united and turn into a true team; this become obvious to everyone around them.
What happens if you fail at one of the stages?
The main thing here is communication. Focus on your soulmate speaks first and try not to interrupt her or him. You may have to accept that you feel sometimes differently. Try to walk in his/her shoes instead of make another attempt to change his point of view or even his/her personality.
Hope it is more clear now what point your relationship are at, and when you do I'm sure this knowledge may help you find the best partner!
