There's only so much time, and honestly, we all need to start using it wisely.
Things change. That's a given. In fact, that's the only given we have. The world is going to change, our lives are going to change, and everything we've ever acquired is going to change. The only thing that is really guaranteed in this life is that one word - change. And oh does everything change.
We aren't as much defined by our successes than by how we reacted to our failures. We are defined by the decision to get up no matter what happened to us. While that decision may not be easy, especially if failure continues to happen over and over again, it is probably the most important decision we could ever make. Unfortunately, for some, that decision to get back up after they have fallen cannot be made because the pain is too unbearable.
What's the reason why?
In truth, the thought of going through the pain and anguish again if failure arrives at the front door is so terrifying that it takes most people out of their game. In fact, it takes them off of the road of life and parks them in the dirt. For some, they will never pull back onto the road because that pain of defeat will define their emotions for the rest of their life.
However, for those who are willing to try again and again because they know their goals and what they are going after, they will rise and get back to the grind. They will continue to see it through all the way to the end because they know what is possible for them. They know the most important thing in the world - their "why."
We need people in this world who will dedicate their lives to inspiring the lives of others. We need these people because we live in a society that promotes personal success rather than the success of the collective. What if you could raise the lives of all of the people around you? What if you could take a stand for everyone instead of just what is possible for yourself? You could be something that would be remembered for all time.
So?
Live your dream.
