On the other hand, the bluenose ones have recessive genes or units, which dilute and weaken the black coloring matter in their fur and nose-hair, and thereby they turn out having lighter furs or shades, in appearance. This is because they are born with significantly minimal amounts of melanin that blackens fur in other pit-bulls. The inadequacy of the blackening melanin results in the light appearance.

In the past, red nose dogs were all the rage. They were hot in demand. They were incepted when a melanin called phaeomelanin was deficient in brown colored dogs. As a result, their furs appeared rusty and red in color, while their noses, gums and jaws appeared pinkish and others reddish. However, their popularity has died down in recent times, and now bluish nosed pits are the fad.

Breeders of these bluish dogs usually take deposits way in advance from willing buyers. They majorly cost between one thousand and five thousand dollars, obviously depending on the quality of the animal, coloring patterns, appearance of the puppy and the breeder reputation. However, buyers need to be very particular and vigilant when purchasing, so that they are not taken for a ride by greedy breeders who are only interested in the money and not the quality and health of the animals.

Therefore, ensure you lay stringent measures of ensuring you purchase from a legitimate certified breeder. Once you have purchased, also ensure that the pet remains healthy and proactive. Ensure that the pet is extensively checked out by a proficient pet, immediately.

After buying your puppy, ensure it is checked upon by a competent vet the soonest possible. This ensures any possible parasites or looming diseases are eradicated early. Also, ensure that random checkouts and tests are done on your puppy periodically, to reduce chances of diseases and parasites like worms.
