Learn Merits To AC Repair Company Eugene OR

By Darrel Brewer

Specialists have worked hard in providing the necessary tips of troubleshooting due to the many concerns that have been raised by different people on the 944 air conditioning systems. These systems have nearly the same components with almost similar functions which is known to AC repair company Eugene OR.

When a problem has been detected on any 944 A/C systems, a person is required to follow two processes so as to determine the problem in this system. The first step one can resort to is the physical step by step process of component replacement in the system, subsequently replacing the non-functional component. The person might also decide to use A/C gauges to carry out specific problem tests.

A proper understanding on the functioning of this automobile A/C is important before any attempt of any troubleshooting. There are two types of A/C systems in automobiles, depending on what is used in regulation of temperature and the pressure of this liquid. The first type utilizes the orifice tube while the second type uses an expansion valve, as in 944 A/C systems.

The compressor comprises the first component of AC systems. It converts the low-temperature refrigerant into a gas with both high temperature and pressure. After this, the gas then goes into the condenser adjacent to the radiator. In this component, the gas losses heat and condense into a warm liquid.

From the condenser, the warm liquid is forced into the orifice tube. The pressure drop in the liquid is always equal to the pressure inside the tube, hence maintaining the pressure inside and outside the tube. This facilitates the effective regulation of the liquid pressure by the cycling compressor in an orifice tube system.

In the second system of the expansion valve, the liquid then goes through the receiver-drier which separates it from moisture which affects it by lowering its capacity to exchange heat. The refrigerant, still in its liquid state, then passes through the expansion valve which detects and regulates the pressure at the suction of the compressor.

Both the expansion valve and the orifice tube are significant in reducing the refrigerant pressure so as to effectively lower the refrigerant temperature. Both the expansion devices also convert the high pressure and temperature refrigerant into a lower pressure liquid with a lower temperature.

Another important component of any A/C system is the evaporator, which contains numerous coils that allow in hot air coming from the side of the passenger through a part of its coils. The lower temperature refrigerant goes through the other side of the evaporator enabling the hot air cool.

The orifice tube system usually has an accumulator placed between the compressor suction and the evaporator. The accumulator has the same function as the receiver-drier which absorbs moisture, only that it even removes any refrigerant that has not evaporated which leads to liquid lock from the rotations of the compressor.

Many specialists have developed A/C repair and troubleshooting guides. These guides give basic teachings on the problems affecting air conditioning systems, their causes and the best solutions. Proper implementation of these guidelines requires one to have the basic knowledge of ACs.
