You can also try and prepare it for longer so that the texture is softer and much better for eating. It all depends on how you like it prepared and what spices and ingredients you enjoy tasting. Some people enjoy them in curries and others like them with bland sauces over it. You should try the different ways of having it until you find the way you enjoy the most.
