You would probably need constant help from Pool leak detection service San Diego.

The problems about leak is that it would not start that huge. It will gradually grow and make damages if its neglected. With that, it can be the most serious problem you will have to face regarding your pool. Aside from the damages on the pool itself, it could also ruin the backyard which is where pools are installed.

If you are having a hunch that leaks may be there then you could at least try to run some test and determine if its true. You do not have to panic and immediately call help from technicians, its better to keep your cool and do your own check up and detection first so that you could hassle and time.

However, its important that you follow some handling tips before you hire the technicians. That way, you could determine whether or not there is really a problem and for you to be aware as well of what is wrong. Also, it could help you lessen the possible expense since you may be able to directly point out what the problem is.

First, you have to determine the probability of leakage. So for you to do that, prepare a pail and fill that out with water. You do not need to put a lot, just enough to stop it from floating on the surface. Place it somewhere in the steps of your pool and place a permanent mark on the level of water that reaches the pail.

Then try to mark on the water level inside the pool by placing an indication inside and outside part of that bucket. Leave it there for a good twenty four hours or more. Then when you get back on it, check if there are some kind of changes on the water level. If its reduced then yes, leakage confirmed.

If there is, then that is a sign of leakage. You might as well want to check on the plumbing systems of your pool. If you have noticed any loss on water through your filtering systems then its probably on the plumbing areas where the leakage lies. Try doing some pressure test to prove your hunch.

Next thing to check on are the liners. Pool liners does get lots of cases when it comes to leaking and its really hard to check on that unless you pay close attention to its parts. Damages are usually the reason for leaking in such areas of pool so you have to look for broken parts instead of water loss this time.

Last thing you need to look at are your concrete. Although, this is not common scenario, still it can happen especially if the concretes are not installed well. So, food coloring tests are your best options in determining whether or not the leaks are in this particular part of your swimming pool.
